AmeriCorps (Corporation for National and Community Service)
What is this?
After completing your service, you earn a Segal AmeriCorps Education Award that can be used to pay for college, grad school, or to repay student loans. You also get a living stipend during service.
Am I eligible?
US citizens, nationals, or lawful permanent residents 17 or older. You commit to a term of service (usually 10-12 months full-time) doing community work like tutoring, disaster relief, or conservation.
